Dear Chantilly High School Parents, Teachers and Students,

Welcome to the 2017-2018 school year!  These are exciting times for Chantilly High School and your Chantilly Parent-Teacher-Student Association (PTSA) is looking forward to working with you to make this a great year for everyone.

Some of the things the PTSA has planned for this school year.

They include:

  • Sponsor a welcome lunch for new Chantilly H.S. faculty and staff on August 17
  • A Teacher Welcome Breakfast scheduled for the morning of August 21
  • Continuing our grants program for teacher enrichment projects to benefit our students
  • SAT/ACT boot camps and practice tests
  • An online directory app for PTSA members
  • Support and recognition for student improvement through On-a-Roll awards
  • Provide PTSA merit scholarships to our outstanding seniors
  • Organize the All-Night-Grad Party, held from 11:00 pm to 5:00 am on the evening of graduation.  We want our seniors to have a fantastic and safe way to celebrate this important milestone!

The PTSA is only as strong has its membership, so please join, participate and be a vital part of our community. We could use your help on several committees including, Events (students and faculty), Practice Testing & Boot Camps, Grants & Scholarships, and Volunteers.  Any assistance you could provide is very welcome as ‘many hands make light work!’

The PTSA team will be present at Chargin’ In (look for our table by the door) on August 22 and Back to School Night on Wednesday, September 6.  You can also contact Arian Hadley, our membership coordinator, at membership@chantillyhsptsa.org for more information.

Thank you for helping us make a better, stronger and more engaging school community!

Best Regards,

Jeremy E. Plotnick
PTSA President, 2017-2018
